Peter Creeden
Asia & Oceania Lead Facilitator, LinerGame™ | Managing Director, MPC International
Shipping has defined Peter’s career from the outset. After studying at maritime high school and maritime university, he built a 22-year international career with Hamburg Süd, a pioneer of containerization in the Pacific region.
Peter held senior management roles across Europe, North America, Central America, and Oceania during his 22-year career with Hamburg Süd. In his various senior management roles at Hamburg Sud, he has navigated terminal, customer, and carrier relationships, experiencing firsthand the friction that arises when sales, operations, and planning don’t speak the same language.
After over two decades in global liner shipping, Peter founded MPC International in 2019 to provide practitioner-led strategic advisory to ports, terminals, infrastructure owners, and logistics technology firms. MPCI specializes in port optimization, digital transformation, commercial strategy, and governance. His focus is on translating complex supply chain challenges into structured, performance-driven programs that deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes.
Peter also serves as Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School and the Australian Maritime College, where he teaches global distribution strategy and maritime supply chain digitalization, bridging academic insight with real-world execution.
