Dominic Enthoven

Principal Facilitator | Principal Advisor, MPC International | PhilaPort Representative for Australia and New Zealand | Former Regional Manager, Hamburg Süd/Maersk

Dominic spent over 30 years with Hamburg Süd and Maersk across four continents. He lived and worked in the UK, Chile, Miami, and Sydney, holding roles in trade management, allocation, area management, and new service development. His career began in operations then developed into strategic network design. Dominic has helped launch and manage the OC1/Trident service connecting Oceania with Philadelphia, a containerised trade route operating since the early 1950s.

As Regional Product Manager for Asia-Pacific and later Reefer Vertical Manager, Dominic balanced commercial strategy, operational execution, and customer relationships. He spent three decades navigating the tension between what sales promised, what vessels could carry, and what terminals could handle.

After the Maersk acquisition, Dominic joined MPC International as Principal Advisor in 2022. He advises on supply chain strategy, systems interoperability, and digital transformation. He serves as Secretary of the Australian Coffee Traders’ Association and represents PhilaPort for Australia and New Zealand.
