An example is a 2-day simulation of the running of a container shipping line. The first day will be a simulation of the basic dynamics of uptake management, stowage, forecasting, rollings, prioritizing key clients versus spot clients and revenue maximization. The second day the complexity will be increased by introducing empty equipment repositioning, further stowage restrictions and additional cargo types. On the second day, the participants will also work with optimizing work flow processes to improve performance.
